Common Questions
Add the red cap to the top of the lid just before mixing and remove directly afterwards – this ensures that no pressure can build and travel through the straw. Always use a red cap when mixing solvent.
Metallic traces on occasion can be seen on the side of the cups after mixing. This is a characteristic of specific metallics, and will not impact the final color appearance.
It is not necessary to squeeze the lid to check for strength.
Do not push down on the lid, that will not cause a connection. Instead, press to secure 1 side, followed by the other. This will ensure a strong, sealed connection.
Although the lid system is pre-assembled, it is always good to check that the pipe is secure, the filter is in place, and the valve is free from obstruction.
If, in the unlikely case of spills, simply remove the drip tray and clean with the required solvent. Once clean, place tray back in the device and you are ready for the next mix.
